Breitling Watch Premier Heritage Duograph. RB1510251B1P1. Bringing to life one of the industry’s most complex and rare complications, the new Breitling Premier Heritage Duograph showcases the extraordinary Rattrapante function on an elegant black dial. The Rattrapante complication, also known as the split seconds chronograph, takes Breitling’s chronograph technology to a whole new level. Powered by the Breitling Manufacture Calibre B15, the movement ultimately delivers two chronograph seconds hands instead of one with the second superimposed over the other. Alongside this, the COSC certified calibre ensures a power reserve of 70 hours, a column wheel mechanism and a vertical clutch for the chronograph, small seconds and 30 minutes counter. Just as pretty as it is powerful, the Breitling Premier Heritage Duograph watch is delivered in polished 18 carat rose gold with a black alligator leather strap with folding buckle and domed sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment. It’s 42mm diameter is also accompanied by a non-screw locked crown with two gaskets, integrated push pieces and an exhibition case back which offers a stunning view of the manual winding movement housed within. It’s 100 metre water resistance is more than warranted on a men’s dress watch like this as is the handsome, black-coloured dial adorned with elegant gold Arabic numerals, gold minutes track, tachymeter scale and syringe-shaped central hands coated in Swiss Superluminova. The dial is finalised by the iconic Breitling ‘B’ logo at 12 o’clock and an inscription at 6 o’clock which marks the piece as part of the Premier Heritage Duograph series.
