Limited Edition of 2,009 pieces Oris Watch Aquis Dat Watt Limited Edition. 01 761 7765 4185-Set. Oris expands its Change for the Better collection once again with the release of the Oris Aquis Dat Watt watch. Designed in support of the Wadden Sea, the world’s largest tidal system and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the limited edition signals the beginning of a new project for Oris and the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS) who together hope to maintain and protect the area as a place of rich global biodiversity. Following in the footsteps of other Oris Aquis watches before it, the Dat Watt watch comes fully prepped for diving with a Wadden Sea-decorated screw down case back water resistant to 300 metres, a 43.5mm stainless steel case, sapphire crystal glass and a unidirectional rotating bezel equipped with a 60 minute scale. The dial of the Oris Aquis Dat Watt Limited Edition is the real star of the show, standing out with a handsome ocean-blue backdrop and a unique display for the lunar cycle and tidal range in the Northern Hemisphere, a decision that wonderfully tributes the Wadden Sea and its location in the North Sea. The complication is powered by the Oris 761 automatic winding movement which uses a central white pointer hand that once aligned with the correct day in the 29.5-day lunar cycle, will show the corresponding tidal range on the white outline on the dial. The same hand also indicates the waxing and waning of the moon. The Oris Dat Watt watch is also equipped with a date window at 6 o’clock, white Superluminova accents and is limited to 2,009 pieces to mark the year the Wadden Sea was awarded UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
